Hosted by Head Sommelier Yuri Gualeni, this evening will celebrate the winemaking traditions of Italy’s Alpine regions: Val d’Aosta, Lombardia, and Trentino-Alto Adige. Guests will enjoy a seasonal five-course menu for £95 per person inspired by the culinary heritage of these regions, with each dish thoughtfully paired with a wine from the Italian Alps, showcasing the unique flavors, character, and elegance of this mountainous terroir.
Babbo, meaning “Daddy” in Italian, is a neighbourhood restaurant that embodies La Dolce Vita meets Little Italy – the pinnacle of the Italian dream.
Offering a charming day to night dining experience, the restaurant focuses on authentic Italian cuisine, from lunch, aperitivo through to dinner, rooted in family and traditions. Babbo’s menus have been meticulously created by Executive Chef Nicola Cariglia. Grounded in his Southern Italian upbringing and inspired by his mother’s kitchen and family life that made food the centrepiece of daily rituals. Celebrating the elegance and simplicity of traditional Italian cooking, enjoy a range of signature dishes, that showcase the finest seasonal ingredients, inspired by secret family recipes passed down from generation to generation.

The home of Chianti, Barolo, Prosecco, Valpolicella, Soave, Orvieto, Etna, Italy has a rich and diverse wine heritage dating back more than four thousand years. Our wine list takes you on a journey through Italy as well as a selection of premium bottles to toast those special moments.
Ideal for leisurely lunches or celebratory dinners, Babbo is the perfect location for all occasions. Taking design inspiration from the Mediterranean and its rich cultural heritage. Our home consists of three main areas, including an open dining room with a vibrant bar, an intimate cosy semi-private lounge and an outdoor heated terrace. Resplendent in tones of reds and burgundies, offset with bespoke dark timber, a custom-made illuminated mirrored ceiling, with terrace doors that open onto St John’s Wood High Street, creating a semi-alfresco ambience throughout the restaurant.
To hire Babbo exclusively we can accommodate up to 70 guests seated or 100 standing. For semi-exclusive (one half of the main dining room) we can seat up to 35 guests.
Special menus are available for breakfast, lunch, receptions and dinner events.
Join us in the crowning jewel that is our lounge and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of good company, great drinks and outstanding food and the love for an Aperitivo hour or two.
To hire Babbo's lounge bar we can accommodate up to 20 guests seated and 30 standing.

If you need to cancel your reservation, please email [email protected] or do so online via the link in your confirmation email at least 48 hours prior to your booking.
We ask that any cancellations to your reservation be made no less than 48 hours prior. In the event of a no-show or late cancellation, we will apply a non-refundable charge of £25 per person.
Everyone is always welcome at Babbo and we are happy to seat walk-ins depending on availability.
